Neil Fletcher. Neil qualified in Medicine from Cambridge in 1998 and now works as a British GP. He is also a qualified surgeon and tropical doctor.
He has clinical experience in the UK, Australia, Nepal, and sub-Saharan Africa with patients as diverse as celebrities and Darfuri refugees. He recently spent some months in summer 2007 working in Eastern Chad as a doctor with Médecins Sans Frontières. For more information about this project and photos of Ethiopia see

His vision for SHAPE is to deliver sustainable medical care to the poorest people in the world. He is driven by his Christian faith.
Lorna Fontaine.
Lorna is a developmental child psychologist currently working on an international research project in child language acquisition. Lorna has also spent a considerable amount of time working as a volunteer in rural Africa where she has helped design and establish a variety of community lead projects. These include income generation, conservation, food management, irrigation schemes, care of the elderly, orphan care, and education. On returning to the UK Lorna and a group of friends set up a UK based charity providing healthcare access in rural Tanzania

Jenny Howard.
Jenny qualified in medicine in 1983. She is a partner in a rural
general practice in South Shropshire with a particular interest in women's
health.
She was a member of the party from SHAPE that visited Ethiopia in November
2007 to look at rural healthcare issues. She has travelled widely and spent
a short time at a hospital for Women and Children in India.
Outside of Medicine she has an interest in craftwork, especially textiles,
and serves as a trustee for a local craft college.
Gordon Mortiboy.
Gordon has spent the last 23 years being a self-employed business and management consultant working with management teams in the public, private and charity sectors
Karen Robinson.
Karen has been a GP in a rural practice in South Shropshire for 23 years.
She has a special interest in medical education, is committed to the provision of high quality Primary Care, and would like to see this extended to all who need it.
